These terms govern your use of the FoxSnap desktop app (Windows and macOS) and related services.

1. The product

FoxSnap is a local-first screenshot tool. Capture, annotation, plain-text OCR, local export, and recording run on your device. Cloud features (formula, table, and chemical symbol recognition, cloud translation, and link sharing) are provided by our servers.

2. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use FoxSnap on your devices.

• Trial — 15-day free trial with all Plus features.
• Plus — one-time purchase; includes one year of updates. After that, updates are an optional $4/year. If you skip renewal, you keep using the version you bought.
• Pro — subscription for cloud capabilities; includes Plus.

Commercial use is allowed from the trial.

3. What's yours

Your screenshots and recordings are yours. We don't claim ownership of your content.

4. Cloud features

Cloud features are subject to monthly quotas and require an internet connection. When you use formula, table, or chemical symbol recognition, cloud translation, or link sharing, the selected content is uploaded to our servers for processing. Do not upload content you don't have the right to share.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service, including:

• Uploading unlawful content or content that infringes others' rights
• Attempting to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Reselling or redistributing the software

6. Payments and refunds

Plus is a one-time purchase. Pro is a recurring subscription you can cancel anytime. Refunds follow the policy shown at checkout; contact support if you have questions.

7. Updates

We may release updates to improve the app. Plus includes one year of updates; Pro includes updates while your subscription is active.

8. Disclaimer

The software is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee it will be error-free or uninterrupted.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we won't be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the software in the twelve months before the claim.

10. Termination

You may stop using FoxSnap at any time. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

11. Changes

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version.
