Pricing FAQ
Will core features move behind a subscription?
No. Capture, annotate, local export, local OCR, and recording will never lock into a subscription. Only server capabilities go to Pro — and we say so on this page.
How does Plus pricing and updates work?
Plus is $12 once internationally (¥80 in China), with 1 year of updates. Renew for $4/year afterward; if you don’t, you keep using the version you bought.
Can I pay for Pro today?
Not yet. Until cloud features ship, Pro is Waitlist only — no charges. When live: $48/year or $6/mo (¥320/year in China), including everything in Plus.
Does local OCR burn Pro credits?
No. Plain-text OCR stays on-device under Trial / Plus quotas. Formula, table, and chemical symbol recognition run on our servers and use Pro credits.
Do I need Plus before Pro?
No. Pro includes all Plus capabilities. You can also go Trial → Pro directly.
What happens when the trial ends?
The trial lasts 15 days with every Plus feature unlocked. When it ends, buy Plus (one-time) or Pro to continue. Your screenshots, projects, and settings are kept.
What about Team?
Shared libraries, central billing, and seats come after Pro is stable. Not a day-one enterprise product.
