- Pause on a region to annotate inline; copy or save keeps your marks.
- Dwell OCR submenu; Chinese input and arrow editing in the overlay.
- **Capture FoxSnip** includes the OCR panel in the next still capture.

## Annotation (FoxSnip)

- Single-letter tool shortcuts in the editor and inline toolbar.
- Shape variants and filled polygon; text backgrounds refit on larger bake canvases.

## 0.1.2 — 2026-09-30

After the trial, entering a license lets you keep working. The trial-ended dialog does not come back.

## App

- If you enter a license from the trial-ended dialog, going back to annotate or the editor no longer shows that the trial has ended.
- Activation takes effect in the current session. You do not have to relaunch.
- Dialogs you already closed stay closed when you switch away and come back.

## 0.1.1 — 2026-09-27

License, translation, and updates are scoped to this product, so FoxClip and FoxSnip stay out of each other’s way.

## App

- License, translation, background removal, and update checks identify this copy as FoxClip, so they are not mixed up with FoxSnip.
- Update checks include an app id, so you get FoxClip’s own releases.

## 0.1.0 — 2026-09-27

Record, then cut. Capture a screen, a window, or a device, land on the timeline, and export the finished video.

## Record

- Record the full screen, one window, or a connected iOS device.
- System audio, microphone, and camera. Place the camera around the frame and add an outline.
- Window recordings include menus and dropdowns.
- Record keystrokes and show the real keys in the video.
- Tidy the desktop before you start. Redo a take, and name the project.
- Recording starts as soon as you press record, without waiting for the picture to warm up.

## Edit

- Cut, change speed, and add markers on the timeline.
- Auto zoom follows the cursor and typing. You can also draw a zoom and hold it.
- Glass magnifier, 3D camera moves, and scene transitions.
- Captions: transcribe, style each cue, and burn them into the export.
- Keys, cursor, and clicks stay aligned after you cut or change speed.
- Crop, split screen, and rounded picture-in-picture with a shadow.
- Backgrounds from a color, an image, a gradient, or Unsplash.
- Undo and redo. The command palette jumps to common actions.

## Export

- MP4, MOV (H.264 / HEVC / ProRes), GIF, and a Final Cut project.
- Audio only, when that is all you need.

## Screenshots

- Capture a region, a window, or the full screen, then annotate, copy, or save.
- Scrolling capture, text recognition, translation, and pinning to the desktop.

## App

- Open recent projects from Home. Closing the editor returns to the project list.
- After the trial, the basics keep working. Plus and Pro features open the pricing page.
- Activate this Mac with a license. FoxClip checks for updates on its own.
- Settings, About, and License appear in the Dock and the menu bar while they are open, and step aside when you switch to another app.
